Jean E. Tooker
Vice President, Human Resources

Jeanie Tooker has been Vice President of Human Resources at SRI International since February 2003. She leads a team of more than 20 professionals who provide all human resources services, including recruiting, to SRI staff.

Tooker joined SRI in 1989 as a senior benefits analyst. She soon became personnel management advisor for SRI's engineering division and was promoted to manager, engineering group human resources in 1997.

Prior to joining SRI, Tooker was a member of the human resources department at ALZA Corporation from 1983 to 1989. She has also worked in the areas of customer service and accounting, and spent three years pursuing her interests in archeology and anthropology with state and federal agencies.

Tooker received a B.A. in anthropology from California State University at Humboldt with additional work toward a Masters degree in family counseling, also at California State University at Humboldt. She also received a certificate in human resources management from the University of California, Berkeley Extension.
