Analytical Chemistry

Our research team has developed methods for analyzing bacterial metabolites of energetic compounds. These methods can be used to identify transformation processes taking place in the environment, determine the shelf life of drugs, and to identify decomposition products. The research has been funded in part by the Walter Reed Army Institute. Our Catalysis and Analytical Chemistry team has published or submitted six major papers on the work since 1995.
