Separation Science

Separation science has broad commercial applications. SRI's approaches, including use of multiflow chromatography, provide low cost, high purity separations to ensure efficient recovery of usable materials and pollutants from complex mixtures. The lab's concept of absorption of organic sulfur compounds forms the basis for an economical process for making low-sulfur gasoline.
